Where did the name originate?
Threads of Renewal was borne from the phrase "life’s rich tapestry" which refers to the complexity, diversity and interconnectedness of human experiences. Just as a tapestry is woven with threads of different colours, our lives are also woven with threads - good and bad, expected and unexpected, all of which contribute to our personal growth.
Threads of Renewal invokes a sense of hope and encouragement that the threads in our lives, that no longer serve us, can be changed and replaced with new threads that ...........
What does the logo symbolise?
I chose the image of a plant bulb with roots extending from the base because it speaks directly to the heart of what Threads of Renewal is all about. A bulb holds the quiet, potent promise of transformation. It rests beneath the surface, often in darkness, holding within it the threads of potential, waiting for the right conditions to awaken and grow.
The threads coming out of it reflect the healing, growth and reconnection that happen here—grounded, natural and unfolding in their own time. Just like a bulb, we don’t need to be constantly striving to be growing. Sometimes, we simply need the right conditions to remember what was already there
